States of Independence - Leicester Independent Publishers' Fair

"States of Independence" - an independent press day at De Montfort University, Leicester. 20+ events over the day, including talks, readings and launches, plus stalls from dozens of indie presses from around the East Midlands and beyond.
Organised by Five Leaves and creative writing lecturers at De Montfort University.
Five Leaves' authors include Dan Tunstall and Berlie Doherty (young adult), David Belbin (literary forgery), David Bell (Leicester striking miners), Rod Madocks (crime fiction), Peter Mortimer (editing small presses) and many more friends and relations from across the small press and indie press world with stalls or speakers including The Coffee House, Dream Catcher, Crème de la Crime, Weathervane, Writing East Midlands, Staple, Iron Press, Richard Hollis, Crystal Clear, Leicester Libraries, Smokestack, De Montfort University Creative Writing, Leicester Writers Club, Shoestring Press, Pewter Rose, Candlestick, Spokesman, Nine Arches, The Observatory, Pauper's Press, Poetcasting, and many more.
